A country's economy depends a lot on its citizens conscientious behavior, including responsible attitude to taxes and compliance with legislated standards.

The objective of this awareness program is to promote tax discipline among citizens. The materials of the program also tell the citizens of the advantages of tax compliance.

A whole series of problems exist in the field of taxation in Russia today. According to the tax authorities, many citizens and corporate entities practice full or partial tax avoidance.

Acute problems are identified and presented as topics of the campaign’s public-oriented information materials:

- citizens not paying taxes on incomes from leased housing;

- corporations hiding or understating salary incomes paid to their employees;

- corporations filing business losses with the tax authority while having profits.

The program is intended to improve this situation with all of the above. The result is expected to have good effect on the nation's economic development.
