Road Traffic Safety

The number of traffic accidents keep growing from year to year, posing a true threat for the society. With the number of cars growing, traffic behavior level unfortunately deteriorates. Both drivers and pedestrians are to blame. Observing several points can help to restore the road traffic situation back to normal. Pedestrians and drivers must respect each other; the rule of the road must be known and observed; and the most important is understanding that by observing the traffic regulation and respecting other counterparts on the road, we can considerably reduce the road accident rate and the number of related casualties.

The main objectives of the road traffic safety awareness program include: first, make all parties involved in road traffic understand the possible causes of road accidents; second, get citizens involved in activities for prevention of road accidents; and third, establish good traffic-related behavior patterns in the society and raise legal awareness among citizens.
