Quality of education is one of the acute problems of our society.

The number of higher schools is enormous, but quantity does not always mean quality. This is very sad. We get half-educated persons with very limited occupational skills. In turn, such specialist comes to school to teach our children – a vicious circle.

Literacy level of both children and adults in Russia is dropping rapidly. At the end of the 19th century, the share of literate citizens in Russia was just 21.1%. And according to the RF board of statistics, the literacy percentage in Russia now is 99.8%, on the level with high-income nations. But many experts challenge such statistics. The image of Russia as the most reading and educated nation is no longer true.

Nonprofit organizations and schools are alarmed because the level of literacy not both children and adults in Russia is rapidly decreasing. And our current education system is the major cause of the problem. However, education is the only social industry that is directly involved in shaping the premises for the nation’s future economic growth.

This social program is intended to raise the quality of Russian education and literacy level.
