Kursk Too to Have Social Advertising
Kursk joins the club of cities where the street billboards now empty due to the crisis are used for social advertising.
This was reported by Alexander Karaskov, head of the department for street advertising under the municipal architecture and urban development committee.
According to the Kursk administration, the city’s street advertising industry dropped by nearly half this year because of the crisis. ‘Under the circumstances, billboard owners reduced their user rates by nearly 60%, but to no avail: up to 40% of the boards are empty today’, Mr. Karaskov stated.
According to the official, the government is currently is consulting with operators to negotiate the use of vacant media for social ads, Оutdoor.ru street advertising portal reports.
