Results of Omsk Line Social Advertising Contest Announced in Omsk


The contest was held for the second time, and now has been joined by many new participants, according to its hosts.

It included the following nominations: ‘Advertising Campaign – Idea, Script, Slogan, ‘Street Advertising and Printing Industry’, ‘Mass Media Advertising’ (video and audio, web banners and printed media prototypes.

‘Omsk Line not only uncovered great solutions for social problems, it also established a pool of social ad samples, with broad masses involved in its creation, from professionals to Omsk citizens who just care’, reports ‘GlobalOmsk.ru’ business portal.

The hosts – the city government and the local chapters of Russia’s Union of Designers and Artists – note that authors cover in most of their works restoration of the Omsk Fortress and ‘Omsk – the City of Opportunities’ as the general theme of 2009 social advertising.

Faculty of design, PR and advertising from Omsk colleges, the media community and professional advertising agents act as experts to evaluate the contest works.

This year, the experts have been stricter in their opinions, and as a result, some prizes of the professional category were not awarded, the local mass media say.
